  • When I moved here to the Tyne Valley from the big city I knew I could never hope to find the same range of shops and services as I did there. I was wrong. I actually find it's far better. I am the world's biggest technophobe and the Hexham Computer Shop has been a godsend. From photocopying a single sheet to helping unravel the mysteries of my laptop, Pete and his team have been the personification of patience and professionalism - with prices far removed from those in the big city. I know I'm not alone. Whenever I'm in the shop there are customers of all ages and technical levels needing help too. Some bring in the latest computer - others have machines dating back to Roman times. All are treated with respect. And there's free parking right outside the door - what's not to love! Long may it continue to thrive.
